Our second day as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary will be filled with performances from our very own dance groups, other Portuguese dance groups from our community of Winnipeg, other cultural groups from our city as well as a dance group from the “Portuguese Cultural Centre of Mississauga” and a dance group from the “Associação Cultural do Minho de Toronto”.
We will also have en expose of a traditional dish from Ponte de Lima called “Arroz de Sarrabulho” prepared by Dr. Adelino “Tito” Morais and Chef Paulo Santos from Ponte de Lima!

Join us for Casa do Minho's 4th Annual Dia de Portugal celebration on Saturday, June 8! Last year we had such an overwhelming turnout and we are ecstatic once again to bring back our beloved outdoor celebration filled with music, dance, and delicious food.
Stay tuned as we introduce an energetic lineup of musicians and singers to fill the air with the melancholy of their music that will hopefully have you either stand up out of your seat or start randomly dancing where you’re standing!
Indulge your taste buds with authentic Portuguese cuisine available for purchase, including mouthwatering sardines and grilled chicken. Our grills will be serving up these delicious treats that will transport you straight to the streets of Portugal, tantalizing your senses with their flavours and aromas.
But that's not all! Our Ranchos will also be showcasing their captivating performances, showcasing traditional Portuguese dances and music that will leave you mesmerized. And as the night goes on, Sensational Sound will take the stage, bringing you some summer vibes to dance the night away.
To quench your thirst, we have a wide selection of ice-cold beverages and a variety of wines. Cheers to good times with good company!
And for those looking for some excitement, we will have activities for both adults and kids and a firework display to light up the night’s sky!
